from chinese ancient texts 《淮南子》

According to the *Huainanzi*, "In the center lies earth, governed by the Yellow Emperor, assisted by Houtu, who regulates the four directions." The Yellow Dragon, representing the element of earth and the center, maintains balance by restraining the four beasts and preventing conflict. Legend says the Yellow Emperor transformed into the Yellow Dragon to seal the beasts in the four directions, taking his place at the center as a symbol of imperial power. Over time, the yellow dragon and its color became emblems of protection and authority.
